Malick W. Ghachem is associate professor of law at the University of Maine School of Law. A historian and lawyer, he has held a Chateaubriand Fellowship from the French government; a senior fellowship at the Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance, and Abolition at Yale University; and the Charles Hamilton Houston Fellowship in Law Teaching at Harvard Law School.
