If you want a totally jaundiced view of the Eastern Front from a shamefully and deceitful Communist point of view, this is the book for you. Most of the Soviet photos are staged and doctored, as with all their so-called faked film footage that doco makers and fraudsters use eternally in books and on TV. The photos of the masses of dead German soldiers are real enough. Just the captions are wrong.
