<p>Cosmic-Horror comes to the suburbs of 1950s America. An investigative report into the strange incident that resulted in loss of life and the disappearance of several people. Even though witnesses describe nightmarish monsters, things out of an HP Lovecraft tale attempting to enter our world through "holes in space", the incident is largely unknown, covered up for decades. This report is a full account of the incident, the events preceding it, and the aftermath. This digital version is a scan of the original hand-typed, mimeographed and crudely-assembled 40 page booklet. This is not a neatly put-together or even completely legible document.</p>
<p>And the discovery of the report itself is a mystery:<br /><br />In 1987, the Thaxton Research Institute sent field agents to investigate the &lsquo;anomalous incident’ that occurred decades earlier. They were to interview any surviving witnesses and prepare a report. The team vanished and were never seen again. Thirty-eight years later, a post in an obscure reddit sub, using code-words known only to TRI agents, gave directions to an abandoned office complex, where the report was found inside a dead phone system, apparently placed there in 1987.</p>
