For the method to be effective, this book must be used along with Learning Spanish with Comprehensible Input Through Storytelling. Second Year Spanish. This is the Student's Book that brings the extended reading version for each of the stories, as well as comprehension questions.
The extended reading is a longer version of the story, where 80% is comprehensible and 20% is new. The idea is that, based on context, students will use their prior knowledge to decode the words and ideas they don't know in the other 20% of the text. It is important to know that when using this book (along with the student's book) there is little to no prep at all. Everything is well outlined and explained.
