This dictionary originally started in 2012 from entries compiled fromHisweloke's Sindarin-English dictionary, without whose original work thisproject would have taken a lot longer to complete and I am grateful to thecreator.With exceptions for some irregulars, this dictionary does not contain plurals orverb parts other than the stem.I have compiled the English-Sindarin dictionary to make life easier forstudents of Sindarin, however I advise you to cross-reference the Sindarinwords back to their original glosses in the Sindarin-English to ensure the wordmeans exactly what you want it to. Second edition note: all entries have been changed so that the main entry isin the latest Sindarin form, with any earlier variants following it in brackets. Third edition note: the text has been cleaned up to remove extraneousinformation, ease readability and solve spacing issues. All entries have beenchecked to ensure that they are still valid in modern Sindarin used in the ThirdAge onwards; this has resulted in around 100 entries being removed ormodified and around 20 new entries.
