There are many methods for performing sensitivity and uncertainty analysis. Two of the modern — and most useful — deterministic methods, the Adjoint Sensitivity Analysis Procedure (ASAP) and the Global Adjoint Sensitivity Analysis (GASAP), received detailed theoretical treatment in Volume I of this book.
