Metropolitan Kallistos (Timothy) Ware (1934–2022) was an English bishop, scholar, and theologian. From 1966 to 2001, he was Spalding Lecturer of Eastern Orthodox Studies at the University of Oxford, and he was a leading voice in the Orthodox Church, well-known and loved throughout the world.
