 Ichthyomorphic Urbanisms is a novel approach to coastal architecture that draws inspiration from the biological behaviors and adaptive strategies of fish. Unlike traditional coastal urbanism, which focuses on static, human- centered design, this project advocates for an architecture that is regenerative, adaptable, and symbiotic with the marine environment. By employing bio-mimicry, the proposal imagines urban forms that contribute to ecological sustainability, support marine biodiversity, and enhance climate resilience. The core concepts of this research include dynamic urban forms inspired by the fluidity of fish schools, amphibious and floating architecture, and the integration of marine habitats within the urban fabric. Through speculative design, the project envisions floating residential units, aquatic public spaces, and innovative marine transportation systems that not only accommodate rising sea levels but also restore marine ecosystems. Ichthyomorphic Urbanisms challenges conventional urban planning paradigms by offering solutions that address the dual crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, presenting a new model of coastal cities that thrive in harmony with the ocean.
