In 2018-2019, he organized vigils by war resisters during each meeting of the National Commission on Military, National, and Public Service and submitted five briefs. The Commission's final report advised keeping Selective Service and extending registration requirements, with legal penalties for failure to comply, to women, as well as retaining the so-called 'doctors draft' for experts in their fields. Their game was rigged.
Although two recent US Federal Court decisions found registration requirements illegal, the US draft grinds on.
