This is the essence of anticipatory leadership.To be effective in future crisis management and opportunity seizing, then leaders will need to practice anticipatory leadership. Leaders will need to anticipate future crisis and opportunities and also plan ahead for them. It is in planning ahead for future crisis that leaders and their people will not be surprised when the crisis arrives because by then, they would have planned ahead in time for them.The reason why anticipatory leadership is key to effective leadership is the fact that crisis, no matter how hard we try, will always occur. Likewise, opportunities will be presented to us in the future. Hence the key to thriving above future crisis and being able to grasp hold of future opportunities is to plan ahead for them in the present moment. It is by planning ahead for the future crisis that we are able to thrive above them when they occur. Likewise, it is by planning ahead for future opportunities that we are able to grasp them once they arrive.Therefore, the act of anticipatory leadership will need to be mastered by all leaders if you are going to be effective in moments of future crisis.Master Anticipatory leadership, master future crisis management and in seizing future opportunities."
