Recent technological breakthroughs have greatly reduced the cost of data storage and computing, making the storage of huge amounts of data considerably less complicated and expensive. With the increasing volume of data being stored, coupled with lower costs and easier access, the use of Big Data enables leaders to make more precise business decisions that were difficult to make previously.
